On Wednesday, the 24th of May, students in year 10 participated in a Careers Day event. During this occasion, they had the opportunity to listen to speakers from Warwick University, the Department for Work and Pensions, and Higgs LLP. The presentations encompassed a wide range of topics, including the field of Biological Sciences at university, the significance of apprenticeships, the art of crafting an impressive curriculum vitae, honing interview skills, and acquiring readiness for the workforce. The students were presented with an abundance of valuable information, and our guests were notably impressed by the respectful demeanor exhibited by our students. Moving forward, the next phase for the current year 10 will involve individual career interviews in year 11, where they will deliberate upon their future pathways following the completion of their GCSE exams.
